Michael Morgan, Chief Executive Officer –
With a successful track record in high-growth healthcare technology organizations and helping organizations use technology to transform the way care is delivered, Mike provides data-driven leadership and aggressive growth orientation with deep experience across marketing, product management, business development and operational disciplines. Prior to Updox, Mike was senior vice president of Marketing for Netsmart, an electronic health record provider, which grew to become the dominant leader in the behavioral health market.
Sean Ramsey, President –
A solution-oriented leader with business development, sales, and marketing experience, Sean offers expertise in building and selling new company initiatives and market expansion. He has both client-side and consulting experience working with healthcare providers, payers, and pharmacies on how to leverage technology to gain efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve patient communication and outcomes. Prior to joining Updox, Sean served as vice president of Business Development for Information Control Corporation, a leading IT professional services firm focused on business intelligence and interactive marketing.
Jason Barr, Vice President, Sales and Marketing –
Bringing to Updox his strong background in sales, marketing and operations, Jason leads the rapid growth and development of the Sales and Marketing teams. Jason drives the expansion of Updox’s customer base and revenue growth through comprehensive demand generation programs across all marketing channels. Jason’s expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, lead generation and promotions enables him to play a leading role in the growth of Updox and our connections with partners, physicians and practices. Prior to Updox, Jason held leadership positions with Leaderpromos.com, improveit360 and the U.S. Army.
Pat Bickley, Vice President, Product Experience -
Highly regarded for problem solving, creativity and customer partnerships, Pat is quick to recognize trends and get products to market swiftly and successfully. She is responsible for helping Updox get new solutions to market, as well as ensuring CRM components are incorporated in ways that are beneficial to physicians, partners and patients. Prior to Updox, Bickley held product management roles with Health Care DataWorks, McKesson/RelayHealth, HTP, CMHC Systems and HubLink.
Scott Fannin, Vice President, Care Coordination -
With more than 18 years in Healthcare IT, Scott’s extensive experience in development, architecture and product management makes him ideal to lead Updox’s Care Coordination initiative. He works closely with Sales, Product Experience and Development teams on the strategy and implementation of introducing Updox products to new market segments, with a focus on Care Coordination and Pharmacy. Scott came to Updox from Greenway Health, where he served as vice president of Product Management in Interoperability, vice president of Consumer Services, vice president of On Demand Services and director of Product Design. He holds degrees from Bucknell University and University of Kentucky.
Tobin Juday, Vice President, Architecture/Co-Founder –
With considerable experience in the development and design of high-performance, highly secure, web-based systems that have served time-sensitive, quality sensitive businesses that demand perfection, Tobin’s expertise in systems that cannot fail translates directly to Updox’s strict requirements for supporting the accountability of care providers and the privacy of patient information. Before joining Updox, Tobin led Development teams at CheckFree, BestTransport, and Skybus.
Heather Mills, Chief Financial Officer –
Heather brings to Updox a comprehensive background as a finance and accounting executive combined with significant operational experience leading successful organizations in fast-paced and challenging environments. Heather is responsible for Updox’s operational and financial management, including accounting, finance, treasury, forecasting, strategic planning, and risk management. Prior to joining Updox, Heather’s experience includes serving in a corporate finance role at Battelle and more than 12 years of public accounting experience at both Crowe Horwath and Ernst & Young. Heather is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ritch Newport, Vice President, Customer Experience –
Ritch has a solid background in healthcare software and customer service, including managing a team of 40+ customer service and testing professionals. He has a strong history of interfacing with both internal business users and external customers in a variety of technology projects, including healthcare software implementations and CRM programs. He previously worked for TIBCO Software, DSW, Applied Innovation and Sterling Commerce. He is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds degrees from Franklin University and Ohio University.
Mike Witting, Chief Technology Officer/Co-Founder –
Mike brings to Updox his extensive experience in creating highly scalable, easy-to-use business application architectures for companies needing to transact with the customers thousands of times a day. Mike plays a key role in helping Updox deliver quick results to a large network of practitioners, their patients, and their work partners on those tasks that occur frequently and depend upon good communication and collaboration. Before joining Updox, Mike’s experience includes serving as lead architect for CheckFree, BestTransport and Verexis.
