Practice Communications Solution Delivers CRM Capabilities to Health Care
Dublin, Ohio, Aug. 31, 2014 – Updox, the industry leader for physician connectivity and CRM solutions for health care, will be exhibiting at ENGAGE14, the premier educational and networking event for more than 3,000 Greenway Health customers, held Sept. 4-7, 2014, at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
Updox will offer ENGAGE14 attendees hands-on demonstrations of key components of the Updox practice communications platform. Updox brings full-scale customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities to health care practices so they benefit through lower costs, improved patient satisfaction and enhanced referral relationships.
The Updox platform includes specific functionality for integrated electronic faxing, patient portal and Direct secure messaging. Updox solutions work together to coordinate all of a practice’s communications across the full health care ecosystem, including patients, hospitals, affiliates and other providers.
“Updox enables practices to go paperless, eliminating costs for paper and toner; operate electronically, eliminating the need for expensive hardware such as fax machines, scanners and phone lines; and provide secure online communications with patients, providers and partners,” says Sean Ramsey, president, Updox. “Updox customers report significantly lowered expenses, including paper and toner costs reduced by 75 percent and 90 percent reductions in labor costs in certain areas. Our commitment to customers is to make their business operations as efficient as possible so they can spend more time on patient care and service.”
In addition to its partnership with Greenway PrimeSUITE electronic health record (EHR), Updox is integrated with more than 45 EHR vendors, representing 140,000 physicians, through the Updox Direct Network (UDN), the largest built on Direct messaging. The UDN serves a full spectrum of health care, including hospitals, ambulatory, acute care, specialty practices, medical labs, dental practices and small and mid-sized practices, to assist with the transfer of clinical and administrative data.
Providing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for health care, Updox is the industry leading Physician Connectivity Platform. More than 45 electronic health record (EHR) vendors, representing 140,000 physicians, selected Updox as their Health Information Service Provider (HISP) of choice to be a part of the Updox Direct Network (UDN).
